Nice hotel, good location!

Everything was perfect! Thank you to the Marbella Team, our stay was excellent. We enjoyed everything Mākaha valley had to offer. Especially the amazing sunsets! 10/10 would recommend

We arrived at the beginning of Hurricanne Lala. Woke up on day 1 to no electricity and water. Only 2 restaurants were open at the mall with limited menus, very long lines, and no air conditioning. All stores in the mall and on the strip were closed except one ABC store across the street where we were able to get some food and water. Very scary to have everyone looking for food and nothing open. Luckily water and electricity came back on a few hours later only in our room. Outside the hotel still had no electricity. Hotel: We didn't like being woken up at 9am by housekeeping to ask if she could clean the room. One day we were almost ready to leave when she knocked at 9am and asked if she could clean the room. I said we'll be out in a minute. She came right in with vacuum and cleaning bucket and went back to cart for more supplies, we hadn't left the room yet. That was so RUDE. My daughter was still getting ready. We've stayed here every year for years. Housekeeping would wait until we left and then went into the room to clean. They never woke us up. They were also renovating all over the hotel. Noise would start as early as 6:30am right above us, drilling and a lot of knocking and tapping; I always thought someone was at the door. Otherwise, our newly renovated room was beautiful and always clean. Eating at Duke's was also very good. Staff on the 1st floor were always very nice and check in was quick and easy.

Property, service, restaurants and facilities were great. Our bed however, was terrible. Very uncomfortable during a 10 day stay.

We did not receive an email 24 hours prior to our arrival detailing the check-in procedures. The check-in process appears to be unclear. Our room offered a beautiful view, and the accommodations were clean and pleasant. The view. particularly of the mountains, was truly remarkable. This location would be ideal for those seeking to experience this specific side of the island. However, I do not anticipate a return visit. The property's remote location and limited dining options are significant drawbacks.
