The food was a 7.5/10 I enjoyed Zen & The buffet the most. The drinks could’ve been a bit stronger but majority of the time they were good I guess. Most of the staff were very helpful.

We stayed for 9 nights and there was not a day without some kind of mistake or misunderstanding. The staff is very very polite and friendly, but they lack professionalism and training. Some servers in the restaurants don’t speak very good English, so that can be an area of improvement. The overall impression is that the whole operation is out of tune. Strong management and review of all aspects of operations is recommended. Alila is not on par with the rest of the Mayakoba hotels.

The experience, view, food, staff everything was awesome!!

Pools very good! Air conditioning was a bit weak in the room. But everything else was good.

Clean rooms, beautiful grounds at the resort, great food at all of the restaurants we ate at, and taking the catamaran excursion was worth it!

Had a great stay! The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The food was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
