In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! "Booked online with breakfast got there and apparently it was not on the reservation, a man was sitting in reception who could hardly understand a word of English while I was trying to speak with him, utilities were broken in the room, hair dryer was not working was cold all night as the ac wouldn’t come on. I’m quite disappointed as my last visit here the place was Hilton double tree since that I believe the standards declined unfortunately the place was dusty, arriving to the hotel was a shock for me it smelled weird like damp and mold smell and the rooms where no better"

"Booked two rooms for ourselves and relatives for a three night stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hall is an old building with lots of character and has those little corridors running off in many directions which I find intriguing. Our room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was clean with a good size shower and quite modern. The windows in the building are the old style metal frame single glazing so we're difficult to open and you can hear outside noise so if you're a light sleeper I suggest asking for a quiet room at the rear of the property. The bed was very comfy but the pillows are a bit too hard for me. The breakfast was in one of the big old rooms which makes it feel quite grand. Nice small selection of hot and cold for breakfast. There is a modern bar area that is also a dining room in the evening and there is a small sports bar off one of the many little corridors. The hotel is just on the main road and the car park it at the rear which is accessed through a quite narrow tunnel so if you have an unusual large car you'll have to pay to park on the public car park at the front. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby to enjoy and it's is a very short walk into the town center. The train station is only 15 minutes walk too so great location."

"The gentleman on reception who checked us in was really lovely and very welcoming. The room was nice and spacious. Pillows were a bit too soft for our personal tastes and rooms could do with a kettle but otherwise very happy with our stay. Breakfast was nice also. Staff definitely stood out for us as being the best feature of this hotel!"
