「We stayed 2 nights in a suite. The room was delightful and we slept very well. Dinner both nights was outstanding and we wished we could have stayed longer to try out more of the menu ! Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning and also delicious. Would definitely return. 」

「The consistency of room service standard was not there. One day my room was cleaned well, i had 4 bottles of water i had 4 biscuits for each of us staying in the room. The next day i had no bottles of water, no biscuits, the two extra beds were not made. I was very disappointed upon entering our room after a long day out. 」

「日本の民宿に近い感覚で、手ごろな料金にてボリュームのある朝食付きで宿泊できます。部屋は清潔でした。スタッフの方も親切でした。館内には古い鉄道の写真などが飾ってあります。線路の脇にありますので、電車の音はします。静かでないと寝れない方にはお勧めしませんが、私はあまり気になりませんでした。」

We had dinner there which was yummy, especially the creme brûlée - it was better than the one I had in Harrods! The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. It is opposite the church where Midsomer Murders is filmed. 」

「The room was really dark and I didn't like the open plan layout with the toilet in the bedroom (no privacy). The room décor was tired and the jacuzzi didn't work. Only 5 hangers which the staff quickly remedied. Lovely long decking area but it hadn't been cleaned and had no decking furniture so you couldn't sit outside. 「We stayed two nights and love this hotel. The food at the restaurant was really good! イギリスの典型的古いホテルで、そういうのがお好きな方にはぴったりです。部屋のタイプは色々ありそうでしたが狭いツインを選択しました。快適で、テレビもWi-Fiもケトルもありました。バスタブは無かったけどお湯はたっぷり出たし水圧も満足できる強さでした。 ホテルのレストランはパブエリアとダイニングエリアに分かれていて、パブは地元のおじさん達で賑やか、その奥では静かにご飯が食べられました。そして味もとても良かったです。 ホテルの裏にテムズ川が流れていて散歩しながら白鳥を眺めて、素敵な時間を過ごしました。」

「For an overnight stay on a budget, this was fantastic. The bed was comfy, decent pillows and duvet, the sheets and towels were lovely and clean and I really liked the brand of toiletries. The hotel/pub is really big and could do with some updating, but this would needs huge investment, so I'm not surprised at overall condition, but it's functional, clean and tidy. 「The bedrooms and halls probably needed to be refurbished 30 years ago. They certainly are long overdue a completely overhaul today. The bathroom was grimy and there was no excuse for not providing a single chair in the room. What was the point in providing even the tired dressing/table desk without one?」
