「An exceptional stay from start to finish. The whole team were so welcoming and friendly. I got a free upgrade on a Sunday night, so my room was lovely - really spacious, beauitfully decorated, comfy bed, great shower and every amenity you could need - coffee machine, kettle, DAB radio, good TV, iron and hairdryer and beautiful Bramley (cruelty free) toiletries, and some Cotswolds shortbread for a sweet snack! The fan in room was welcome as it's an older, character building with no air-con....

The room I had was decent and the food i ate both in the evening (it has a predominant seafood menu with specials) and breakfast was excellent.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, even when they were busy. 」
「Fabulous, form check in to leaving the staff were fabulous...attentive , friendly and welcoming. I called ealier to let them know I would be there at 8PM and still ok for late check in. When i arrived i was shown to my room and asked if i would eating with them tonight, after dumping my stuff i went to the bar where they had set a table for me in advance. super staff and very attentive...food was good. But what really stuck out was the service and care...and different team at breakfast but...
「Love this little gem of a hotel. Quirky and all the rooms are very different but always comfortable. Staff are always very helpful and welcoming and breakfast and wifi is included which is a nice touch at this price range. Don't expect 5* or a perfectly maintained hotel but you will have a comfortable and great value stay in a nice location with plenty of free parking. 」
「Fijn hotel. Hoofdgebouw is een oude pub/restaurant. Kamers zijn in bijgebouw. Prima kamers, bed en badkamer met inloopdouche. Geen airco maar wel een ventilator.
Ontbijt is prima; echt Engels zelfs met blackpudding (als je daar van houdt). Omgeving is leuk om te fietsen. Redelijk dicht bij Oxford (10 mls). Mooi oud paleis (Blenheim) op 4 km.

「Host was difficult to reach. We never received check in information. We had to call the property owner twice and Travel Nest three times over several hours to get the information. Listing also says the house house has a washer and dryer, but there is no dryer. 」
「Air conditioning was broken, cheap fan in the room, eventually moved us to another room, not really acceptable for nearly £200. Property is pretty run down.」
