"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). "My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Everything was well thought out and check-in instructions were clear and simple. It was great to have the village only a stones throw away, yet it was extremely quiet during our stay, even when it was pouring down with rain. Although we had to get some bits for the fire, it was handy to have a shop nearby to get it. Wi-Fi isn’t particularly strong but was fine to get by. "
