「The water output in thw shower is not as strong as we would like it to be. The sink is clogged with hair from previous guests. We stayed for 2 nights and they did not refill our rooms with water. They took our small towels on the first day of cleaning but did not replace it with new ones.」

「Reception staff wasn't kind. I felt it was arrogant. I began to wonder if it was because I am Asian. Just one person...not everyone. The area was surrounded by major roads, which made it difficult to get around without a car.」

「Great restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. The room was comfortable, although it was a little tired, with some damage to the furniture. The bathroom could also do with updating. That said, the food was excellent, and I would definitely eat here again.」

「The breakfast choice was excellent as was the area where breakfast was served, Two members of staff stood out to us Jasmine on reception and Olivia in the restaurant such lovely girls they made our visit special.」

「Sometime awkward that no one on reception all the time」

「Beautiful location and our room was perfect, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional! The bar and restaurant were first rate! I have already recommended The Black Horse to friends who hoping to visit this wonderful part of the country. ❤️」

「I have stayed various hotels in Newcastle, but the Malmaison was one of the best hotel in the city. I recommend to all who is visiting Newcastle.」
