「Room was a little tired could do with some updating especially the bathroom. Smelt a little damp in the room and bathroom. Cleanliness of the room wasn’t great. Enjoyed our stay, great location and pub, staff and food were excellent.」

「Just stayed here last week very easy to find plenty parking. Check in straight forward the young man very friendly. Some minor faults with rooms. We had 2 rooms . Both kettles in rooms had bad limescale so never used them .the teabags looked like they had just been thrown in a pile on the dresser Bathroom towel instead of being white had a massive blue stain on .bed sheet was dirty. .you could hear the traffic outside but to be expected as on main road. 「As the name states this is an old inn. Room was decorated accordingly. Comfy beds with a reasonable sized ensuite. Evening meal was lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and cooked to order. All staff that we met were friendly.」
