We have stayed at Ravensworth Arms before and have been highly satisfied on both occasions. The room we were given this time was very good, and we enjoyed our evening meal. We had the continental breakfast which was a little lacking in that there was no apple juice and no fruit on offer as advertised. But on the whole we really enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay there again.

You must stay here

Not a single fault, beautiful food, clean and spacious room, friendly staff. An all round lovely trip. We'd travel up again just to stay here.

A Traditional Country Inn.

We've enjoyed several short breaks at this spacious and stylish 'pub with rooms', and have always found it welcoming and homely. The menu is well-balanced with weekly specials. Nothing is too much trouble for the attentive and friendly staff. Very handily placed as a touring base, too

Everything was amazing apart from the tv didn’t work at all, it wouldn’t have mattered so much but given the location, once the bar closed there was nothing to do. Staff tried to get it to work but couldn’t. Would still go back though as everything else was lovely

Great Stay

Lovely Inn with friendly and welcoming staff. Room was spacious and bathroom clean. Over the bath rainfall shower. Food in the pub was good. Standard pub fayre with specials. Angel of the North visible from the window and five minutes drive away. We wanted to be near the Beamish Living Museum and this was perfect. A 10 minute drive away. The only slight disappointment for us was that breakfast ended at 9.00 so we had to be up early and would have liked a bit of a lie in, but that's just our preference. We would certainly stay here again. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

We stayed here whilst visiting Beamish. It was relatively convenient for Beamish, quiet and comfortable. In particular, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Generally a very good option

Hotel was lovely, decent price as breakfast included. Easy check in/out, plenty of parking. We stayed there for the Sam Fender concert at St James Park, got an Uber eachway, 5-8 min drive.

Ok wouldn’t be first choice

Guy on reception very helpful and friendly Was in a room in car park,clean and well presented if a bit small, issues with noise from both the adjacent room and cars passing by the door
