"Great location and beautiful garden with views across the hills. Spotlessly clean and well maintained with all the things you may need for your holiday. The caretakers were very friendly and helpful and cared about us and the property with pride. Local supermarkets, petrol station and IKEA were only a mile down the road plus a five minute walk from the property was a pub serving food and an excellent fish n chips shop! Buses into town from outside the chippy were every 10 minutes or sooner!"

"My family of 4 (including kids aged 5 and 8) had an incredible time at the Cottage over the course of 4 nights. The entire property is gorgeous and the hosts were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our stay coincided with a period of warm weather so we got to enjoy beautiful summer evenings strolling about on a countryside estate watching foxes play on the adjacent field. "A lovely experience stopped for 1 night whilst visiting theme parks, 2 children. Huge grounds and very grand place, staff very helpful, nice spacious family room with park, pool and woodland trail. Delicious breakfast.... Lots of walking as place is so big! But just need to move car to appropriate car park as there are about 5! Would highly recommended this hotel."

"From the photos of the rooms I had seen, I was prepared for a rather boring, average room, so I was very pleasantly surprised when the room turned out to be very stylish and charming. The fabrics were of lovely and of good quality and there were antiques as well as modern touches. The bathroom was spacious and had really nice granite and large porcelain tile. There was a jacuzzi tub which we enjoyed a soak in. We had dinner in the restaurant. It has a fairly simple looking menu, but the mushroom risotto we had was really quite good. Our cocktails were a bit pricey for what they were, I would expect more of a craft cocktail at the price, but they were fine. Our room on the second floor required navigating several twists and sets of stairs of stairs to get to with no lift, but our bags were carried up and down for us so no problem there. The location by the river was quite convenient and away from the crowds and tourist bustle in front of the castle."

"While the hotel was slightly busy due to recent renovations, it did not affect my stay at all. In fact, after an exhausting intercontinental flight, the warm and welcoming service from both the reception staff and the manager was truly appreciated and made my stay very comfortable. The hotel's location in the heart of Windsor is excellent, providing easy access to all the surrounding attractions."

"Wonderful quirky 500 year old pub at Eton, literally a stones throw from Windsor Castle and environs, so an easy walk to everything. Great to have parking and the breakfast included was lovely. Very friendly staff behind the bar. Special feeling staying in a historic pub with its own character. Don't worry about the planes going overhead as they have a curfew in the evenings!!"
