Hostels in Tokyo Prefecture

The room and facilities were clean and well maintained. I slept great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location, easy walk to Nippori station and fun shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

Fun hotel, great price, and great location. 10/10

Staff is friendly, wonderful, and speak English well. A really nice way to see neighborhood side of Japan. Not your typical hotel.

The 3th time to stay here. Good location, good value, cozy space, nice river view.

Excellent staff. They diligently worked with the airport to find/get me my lost luggage. Reasonably priced breakfast, drinks, very clean, and in a very safe neighborhood with great transportation options.Takeshi and team rocks!

Very clean and very good staff

The aesthetic is gorgeous. Our room was very clean and there was a private lounge on the 6th floor for hostel guests to relax in with a fully equipped kitchen. The food and drinks from the cafe and bar were amazing.

The receptionist was very kind, and helpful. We were able to buy detergent at the front, and wash our clothes easily. The room was compact, and had a small desk to use if needed. They have a wall of recommended restaurants in the area which is very helpful. Overall the experience was great.

We stayed in the annex as a family of 4. It was perfect for us. Simple and a great price. Great location. Exit C1 was the closest exit (stairs) and C6 (escalator) was the next closest. The grocery store “Life” had the best bentos and baked goods in the area. Also, cheaper fruit than in the department stores. It was 5 min away.

An amazing deal, with the big bed and a lot of the perks of a full-fledged capsule hotel for the price of a hostel. Everthing is as clean and well-kept as a hotel too--absolutely no hairs in the bedsheets or any of that nonsense. Hostel rules still apply though; towels are rental, for example, and the front desk will close at 11 PM or so. They even serve free toast and hard-boiled eggs + one drink for breakfast! Note that while close to the station, the paths are rather narrow, and it's a metro...

Unplan is genuinely one of the best places to stay if you want to meet and go out with other solo travelers! Bar in the basement is an easy way to meet people and then go out

Good place

The room is small, oh no tiny. But it is Japan. Do not expect affordable room size. Almost all hotels in Tokyo I’ve visited were small. I mentioned this place not for the room size, It was neat and clean. The people were kind and helpful. I’d like to stay few more days if I could. I totally recommend this place to my friend.

Very lovely, well-maintained and comfortable accommodation close to the cablecar station that takes you up the mountain. Has a nice restaurant and hiking equipment facilities on the ground floor.

Excellent

My son had a layover in HND and wanted a close and inexpensive place to stay. He chose this for it's accessibility to public transportation and they also offered free transportation. When he arrived they upgraded his room to a single at NO charge. He said he would most definitely stay there again.

I'm backpacking through Japan and this hostel is in the middle of the action. Great nightlife and friendly staff, make it a "no brainer"
