We are so glad we chose this hotel for our last night in Tokyo. Fantastic staff. Room was spacious with good amenities. Great bed. Blackout shades. Very quiet despite being on a busy street. Just a block away from the nearest train station, and free shuttle to the airport (Haneda).

First stayed in Hotel Metropolitan Kawasaki in 2024, only knowing it was near the train station. Stayed again in 2025 knowing what I know now — and will certainly stay here again in the future. The property was surprisingly spacious, clean, and modern. The hotel amenities (ex. laundry room, fitness, etc.) were the icing on top. But the service is the true slice of cake here. This was a well-maintained hotel with wonderful staff. The room itself was lovely and has great amenities. The 3 twin room was surprisingly spacious for 3 people. The on-premises restaurant was great too. The location is quiet and spacious which is a nice change from the surrounding metro area. It is literally next to a train station so transit is a breeze. My only real complaint is that the laundry facility was too small. There were often 2 hour lines of folks waiting to get loads...

Compact as you’d expect in Tokyo area but jam packed with all the essentials. Location is great being steps away from the subway station and a 10 min walk from Shinagawa Station.(direct Narita Express train from the international airport) There is also a convenience store right around the corner as well as a grocery store near by. They offer a breakfast buffet for a fee as well. We made this hotel our home for 3 days, but would have been pretty comfortable even for a week. We will keep this...

The front desk team is super helpful and friendly, and they speak great English. The rooms are very clean and a bit more spacious than what you’d expect in a typical Japanese hotel—they even have a microwave, a mini kitchen, and a separate bathroom and toilet. You’re close to lots of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores, and Okubo Station is just a few minutes away. We’d definitely stay here again!

I always stay at Sotetsu Fresa Takadanobaba whenever I'm in Tokyo, and for good reason. I loved this little gem of a hotel. The staff is lovely and the hotel is affordable and really clean. The walls are also super thick so you don’t hear the baseball games that might happen across the street. I also loved the location. The street is quiet but metro close and so many places walkable. I felt very safe and seen when I was at the hotel. The front desk staff is amazing and super quick with serving their guests. The area around the hotel was great and easily walkable. I will definitely be back at this hotel in the near future!!

The location made it simple for us to travel around Tokyo with easy. The property was welcoming and the breakfast was excellent!

The best partsv were the breakfast buffet, the restaurant options and the proximity to transportation.

The room was perfect for my son and I and we really love the view.

Hotel connected to large mall. 6 - 8 minute walk to 2 different train lines. Lobby of hotel is on 2nd floor and little difficult to find. Free shuttle from mall to higashi ginza, ginza, and haneda terminal 3. 1 train station away from toyosu senkyaku banrai and fish auction.
