Costs money to use the pool, other than that I rate this hotel a solid 9/10
My only negative observation is that the lounge area (especially the sofas) in 8th Floor feels and looks filthy. We only sat for a few minutes as there were so many people on and around the sofas (please rectify by providing a more comfortable and cleaner waiting area).
What a beautiful hotel! Love how everything is traditionally looking, but also modern at the same time. The staff are wonderful! Wish I stayed here longer. Will recommend to others, and come back when I can in the future.
Clean and tidy, close to Shinjuku Station, the staff were very friendly.
room is big. bed is spacious. near train stations
Staff very friendly and helpful. Much further sway from Shinjuku-Ku than we thought it would be be. We did lots of walking.
Attentive staff, so helpful! A classy & classic hotel in times when they are so many cheaper/inferior hotels around. Excellent housekeeping
Location is great, right between harajuku and Shibuya stations. Rooms are tiny, we had to play Tetris with the furniture to get our suitcases open. Laundry facilities in the onsen area were useful, and the onsen seemed popular, although I could not use this as they prohibit tattoos (common in Japan). ...
Location was perfect as the airport limousine bus alighted us in front of the hotel. Short walk from Shinjuku station with many food options available around the hotel premises. Room was clean.
