"The hotel is older so you need to know that I order to set the right expectations. One elevator. However it is super convenient to everything in downtown St Pete. One block from the water. One block from Saturday Farmer’s Market. Attached to the building are restaurants and bars. The nightlife of St Pete is all within walking distance. So if you want a nice cozy place and don’t mind a little older property this is a great place. Just one thing to note…. Hot water in the shower takes time to heat up. Don’t jump right in. "

"Doesn’t look like the photos. Staff not so helpful or friendly. Bathroom super small and the shower in the tub wasn’t a good experience. Everything is kind of old there. Was not a good experience overall"

"This property is perfectly located near absolutely everything you want to see and do! There are so many restaurants and cafes nearby and everything is within walking distance. The museums are wonderful! The shops have everything you need. The pier with its beach and restaurants along with so many activities is a great place to wander for the day."

"The Hollander is extremely nice. It has a nice pool and bar area offering good cost saving specials. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. It's near a number of museums, bars and restaurants. We'd be happy to stay again."

"Well when I arrived it was not what I expected. Not on the inside anyway. This is the type of hotel where most of the rooms are taken up by people who live there. It was a little sketchy when I pulled up I went into the office and spoke to Ms tammy. She was wonderful very polite let me know if I had any problems to let her know because they will not put up with any loud noise or anything. After entering the room it was very dirty. I don't think they ever really clean. She let me know that they were short staffed so it seems like it's just her rushing in and tidying up. There was no light in the room except for a desk lamp that we had to point at the ceiling to try to eliminate the room. The bathroom and bathtub were very dirty. In my time there I did see a fire truck and ambulance and the police. But with all of that being said it's a hotel that is tucked into a nice part of town. Lots of things to see and eat around there. I never felt unsafe to say. Of course I carried my gun just in case but most people kept to themselves. What I stay here again, probably not. But it was cheap and close to Tampa for a concert I was going to. If I did need a cheap hotel to stay in around Tampa then yeah I might check it out again"
