"Airport shuttle driver was the best part of this stay. Desk person was surely and unfriendly. No name tag on and was eating her dinner at the front counter She did look up my Hilton Honors information and attached it to the reservation, however, she refused to give us two bottles of water because our status was not high enough. Was unable to provide any information about the local free trolley - had never heard of it. Staff did not make up our room, and when we requested it be done, they said they would send someone up and never did. Had to request clean towels be sent up the next morning. This is my 2nd stay here, but there is obviously a problem finding qualified and freindly people to work here. "

"The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, even had omelets made to order. The evening snack food was very basic (popcorn, goldfish crackers), but also offered two free drinks. The shuttle from the airport was easy to request. The area felt safe for walking, and there is a mall across the street with some good restaurant choices. There is also a Walgreens and a liquor store just a couple blocks away which is handy for getting your cruise carry-on sodas and wine. We would definitely stay at this hotel if we return to Tampa."
