"Overall this place was nothing special, but it was clean and located in a good area. The coffee table was a little dirty and our kitchen utensils needed a better clean - but besides that everything was fine. It’s what you pay for. The room was plenty big enough for us. Pool was much smaller than we expected, but it wasn’t too crowded. Breakfast was a typical hotel meal, pancakes and eggs taste watered down, but the coffee was good. At one point our room key stopped working. Staff were friendly, but they seemed understaffed. "

"The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, even had omelets made to order. The evening snack food was very basic (popcorn, goldfish crackers), but also offered two free drinks. The shuttle from the airport was easy to request. The area felt safe for walking, and there is a mall across the street with some good restaurant choices. There is also a Walgreens and a liquor store just a couple blocks away which is handy for getting your cruise carry-on sodas and wine. We would definitely stay at this hotel if we return to Tampa."

"The carpet in the common areas, such as the stairs and walkway was filthy. Carpet in the room was filthy. The air conditioner would not work. Online I read all these beautiful reviews, which all had to be fake because that place look like a Third World dump. I never thought the France Sheraton would have properties such as this one. I will never blindly look at another Sheraton hotel."

"Staff was great, very helpful and nice, the shuttle took us to whiskey joes and we spent a few hours there, the view was great in our room and so nice! We loved it"

"Room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Michael was very nice when it came to arranging for a shuttle and talking to at the desk. Pool was very nice indoor and outdoor options, large pool and plenty of chairs. Gym was also sufficient and clean."
