「Wonderful historic cottage in a park-like setting. We arrived late, but the lock box worked perfectly. Comfy bed, slept very well. Well appointed and spotless. We are just sorry we couldn’t stay longer! Highly recommend. 」

「In the original room, we felt men’s cologne smell very strong, and asked to change the room. The reception accepts our request, and we felt comfotable to stay in the new room. There was no tissue paper box, and coffee machine was out of order. But it is totally fine for us!」

「Parking was really the only good thing about this motel. No elevator. Very poor breakfast- zero protein options and the coffee pump canisters were not labeled decaf or regular so there was no way to know and those staff were available.. bed was terrible and needed to be replaced immediately. Not a single hook or towel bar in the bathroom to hang your towel or clothes. 」

「Our room clearly was not vacuumed and the garbages were full of litter from previous occupants. We were given 2 body towels for 2 people and staff were resistant to provide “extra”. The sheets on one bed had tears and there was a definite musty smell in the main area. Breakfast was basic but apples in the holder were clearly rotten. We will not be back.」

「We loved our stay! The decor is so welcoming and we loved the heated bathroom floor! We were lucky to get snow and a crew came out and shoveled the driveway, front porch and walkway and salted. Sarah was very responsive and the house is well supplied. We hope to come back and use the lake in the summer..」

「Property needs renovation and repairs however it was fine to stay for the weekend if you don’t plan to be in your room often. No temperature self regulation, it just gets turned on and off automatically. The 1915 restaurant is on the expensive side and the diner closes early. The main property, restaurants, etc are a drive from the stone cottages. Plan for extra travel time if in the stone cottages, there is only a one way exit and requires travel out of the way to turn around and get back to...
