「10月に1回の部屋に1泊しました。総合的には小さな街の小さなHOTELでゆっくりと滞在できました。 立地はグランドセントラル駅からメトロノースに90分程度乗車してBeacon駅下車、徒歩15分程です。 駅からHOTELは上り坂なので荷物が多い方はバスかタクシーの利用をおすすめします。 タクシーの台数は少ないですが、電車が到着する時間は1,2台が停まっていました。 スタッフの愛想は良く、部屋は清潔感があり、可愛い家具でまとめられています。 朝食は朝8時から10時までロビーに準備してあります。品数は少ないですが部屋またはバルコニーで食べることができます。またロビーには常に紅茶とクッキーが用意してありました。 おすすめできるHOTELです。」

「What a wonderful experience staying at the Borland House is! With the quaint, homey feeling of the whole house, to the kindness of the staff. Your stay will absolutely be lovely. Ample towels are provided for the private, spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bedding and well appointed decorations are in the bedroom. I was in the Hummingbird Suite. I could see myself living there, it just had everything I needed. I look forward to visiting again in the future!」

「木々に囲まれた環境と可愛らしい外観がとっても気に入りました。朝食を頂くロビーも居心地がよかったです。ただベッドが湿っぽく、バスルームも古びていてタオルも使い古されて黒ずんでいたのが残念でした。」

「We loved our stay! The decor is so welcoming and we loved the heated bathroom floor! We were lucky to get snow and a crew came out and shoveled the driveway, front porch and walkway and salted. Sarah was very responsive and the house is well supplied. We hope to come back and use the lake in the summer..」

「We stayed at the cottages which were clean and welcoming. The only thing to keep in mind is that the common area IS common, so if you don’t want to socialize, it might not be the space for you. We had a party with us that all knew each other (and we were the only room who didn’t) and they hung out there all night talking. Not a fault of the property, but maybe stay in the main inn if you’re looking for a little more privacy.」
