"This property is in need of some upgrades. Hallway carpets were very worn. Rooms were clean but again showing signs of age. Breakfast was substandard with eggs and sausage being ice cold each morning."

"Wonderful property with beautiful views of the Hudson. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch listening to the waterfall across the street and walking around the Vanderbilt Estate (which is a few minutes up the road). Home is clean and well-stocked, beds are comfy, and there were fresh flowers throughout. Owners are lovely and very responsive with ideas for activities and restaurants. We enjoyed the delicious cider donuts they left for us. Location is great with lots of historical and nature activities nearby, as well as access to grocery stores. Would definitely stay here again. "It was nice and new, large room and clean. We ate dinner at the bar. Ordered the steak it was terrible and got the carrot appetizer the bartender raved about, it was terrible as well. Breakfast was very good and the staff was welcoming. Not much around the hotel for other dinning or entertainment options. You’d have to drive."
