"Had a very pleasant staycation with my girlfriend who was visiting from Pasadena. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from the beginning of our stay at check-in to extending our Check out time when we left. The hotel was clean, all the staff friendly and the pool area was very relaxing, even if the weather is inclemental. I would definitely recommend staying at the Nikko when you visit San Francisco. "The Palace is a beautiful classic hotel. I booked to celebrate my husband & my 23rd anniversary. I was disappointed in our room at first— I had been under the impression that a junior suite would have more than one room. It was also not ready at 5:30 when we arrived. There was also only one robe & some of the furniture was really scratched. BUT we were given a $50.00 bar credit for the room being late and it turned out to be comfortable & quiet. "Love this hotel. We stayed here for the Giants game. It's a great location, just a short walk to the ballpark. I didn't like the idea of a $30 destination charge, but didn't realize you get all that back and then some in the form of food and entertainment credits. Will definitely be back! "
