"The room is huge… given that it’s a service apartment. The washer and dryer made a lot of difference to our trip at Rusutsu. The area is clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Mountain View is definitely amazing, especially during winter. While it is a bit of distance from the main resort area, it is walkable (or you can just drive there if you have a car) and sheltered all the way from the Vale to the main resort area. Will stay here if I were to come to Rusutsu again. "

"It's a log cabin which is unique in nature. There were 2 types of beds which are good for children and adults. The pool table created a fun time for the family"

"This place was our (group of 3) favorite during our travels to Hokkaido. It was much cozier than the pictures convey and the sauna was a welcome luxury after skiing and very snowy days. It was majestic to be able to walk to Ukimido Pagoda on a moody weather day, then come back to our cozy lodge. It was so helpful to have a washer/dryer and plenty of drying rack space near the heater. There were many good restaurants just 20 minutes from the lodge near the south side of the lake. "This is a gem of a hotel. Located on the edge of the lake with an amazing view. The hotel has a genuine Japanese vibe. The rooms have baths with hot spring water. The hotel staff have variable english skills but they are very helpful. The nearby village has lots of great restaurants. 30 minute drive to Rusutsu."
