"I had a great stay at this hotel in Kyoto. The property is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, and the entire hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. My only suggestion is regarding the restaurant. The entrée portions were surprisingly small for the price, and the flavors didn’t quite meet the standard I expected. I think the chef could improve both the portion sizes and the seasoning to make the dining experience match the high quality of the hotel. Other than that, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto."

"The best hotel ever!! Friendly, helpful staff. Room was impeccable, the set up was perfect for my taste, the toilet is separated from the shower and with it's own door. The amenities like the shampoo left my hair feeling great, the lotions for the face were so refreshing to my skin. The bed and blankets were soft, the drip coffee was delicious. Their breakfast has a lot of choices and it's delicious, they have Japanese and western dishes, there's also a great coffee maker, where u can get lattes or a cappuccino. The restaurants in the hotel are so convenient after a long day of walking, with great service and amazing food. There's a 7eleven next to the hotel. Super convenient place. We will be coming back to this hotel for sure, my daughter didn't want to leave, our next hotel was a luxury hotel and I can honestly say, we felt more comfortable at the Emion."

"The room was clean and quite large, much larger than the typical Japanese hotel room. We were on a high floor, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast buffet is fine but not that extensive. For us, the highlight was the front desk staff, which made several calls for us to work out an unexpected difficulty (we don't speak Japanese). They were absolutely fantastic. We can't thank them enough."
