"From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. The room was great and spacious. It does get cold at night, but there is a portable heater in the room. The staff was literally a text away. I didn't want for anything. John was very pleasant and a joy to talk to. I will definitely put this on my hotels to stay at again."

"This place is great for visiting the volcano area. It’s very unique. The surrounding of fern forest was amazing during the day and night. There is plenty of space and the back porch is large with furniture and a fire place. We did not use the kitchen for cooking, but it looked well stocked. The host was great with communication and friendly."

It was such a treat for my birthday getting to spend a full 8 days alongside my husband in this beautiful jungle oasis, filled with meaningful and spiritual conversations, cuddles with the community of loving and therapeutic pets, and lots of laughs. This really is a retreat and sanctuary for the people who embrace it as such, providing a welcome escape from daily distractions and positive healing energy for those who need it - whether they consciously realize it or not. We highly recommend planning for an extended stay here in order to fully enjoy the impact of its caretakers and energy on your mind, body, heart, and soul."

"My family stayed at 'The Aloha Green House' Retreat w/ Ocean Views! at of our recent vacation on the Big Island, and we had an amazing visit! The location is amazing—complete with beautiful views of the ocean—which was especially nice in the morning as we were getting started with our day. On a clear night, it would also be a fantastic spot to star gaze. The space is beautifully furnished, meticulously maintained, and had everything our family of four could have wanted or needed. We made great use of the beach towels, chairs, mat, and toys. There were also lawn games and toys, which we didn't really use, but it was nice to know that our host thought to provide them. The kitchen was very nicely stocked. So, overall it was a 5 star experience for our family and we would visit again in a heartbeat! I can envision that this would also be a great spot for a romantic getaway. Honestly, we were sad that we didn't get to spend as much time in the space as we would have liked. We would have loved to have had a "down day" to spend and just enjoy the space."
