A disappointing stay due to noise and inconsistent service. I appreciated the early check-in and late checkout provided through my Expedia membership benefits. However, at check-in, I was told I could use the terrace. When I went there, I was informed it was reserved for wedding guests and asked to leave. If it was booked for a private event, this should have been communicated clearly from the outset. In room 519, noise continued until 3 a.m., preventing me from getting a decent night’s sleep. When I raised this with reception, I was given earplugs. At that time, I was also offered complimentary breakfast as an apology. Despite this, the breakfast charge appeared on my bill at checkout. A restful night’s sleep, accurate information and follow-through on promises are basic expectations. Unfortunately, this stay fell short in all three areas.
