Our room was spacious and clean, and had a great view. The only minor issue is that staff weren't communicative at the restaurants about how to order or the expectation for the buffet/high tea or settling the bill. It was slightly awkward trying to figure out whether we could just grab food or we had to wait etc. It'd be nice if staff provided direction."

The rooftop dining area is also very dated and not a resemblance of the photos. Other than the poor start to our stay here, the rooms were generally clean and comfortable. The property is located well on Galle Road,"
