"This is a beautiful resort and the onsens were amazing, quiet, relaxing, rooms were lovely. The kasieki meal was superb, breakfast had 100 choices. Only complaint os coffee at night had coffee grounds in it. i recommend a two night stay so you may visit both baths. The pajama wear and takata wear were so awesome to wear all over the resort and to dinner! What fun. No racial prejudice felt at this resort. Also a great location to catch the cable car to the ropeway which is a must do! Take the romance car back to tokyo very easy! Try to see Mt Fuji at the lake ferry just breath taking!,"

"The room was fabulous. Service staff are very friendly. There are a lot of activities to do in the hotel. Living close to nature. The only downside is that it is not near the train station, you have to call the hotel to get someone to fetch you (Limit 6pm). Additionally, there aren't a lot of shops around but everything can be found in the hotel itself."

"A beautiful properly. We had a room with an onsen on our deck, it was supposed to have a lakeview but trees are all grown in and blocking. This place feels remote but there is a bus stop station close and the pirate ship/ cable cars. No stores or restaurants close by but we really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets."

"Great view of Mount Fuji just from the hotel room and restaurant. wing we stayed are spacious but need updates as there are not enough electric outlets and no USB plugs. Service is great and suggest add breakfast to your booking as it is really good deal."

"Great ryokan experience. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well stocked. The food was phenomenal. We stayed for two nights and they had a different menu each day. The service was exemplary. We brought our 4 month old baby boy and they went out of the way to accommodate us. They put us in a slightly more secluded room and dining section so we didn’t need to feel bad when he cried. They set up a little bed for him at dinner time. "

"The quality of the dinner that we stay on the second night was not very good but the assistant manager helped us to solve the problem right away. In the next coming, the restaurant manager do the follow up on the issue. They are so considerate. My friends and my family have a very pleasant stay in here. Thanks all the staff."

"My husband and I would come back here in a heartbeat. We were blown away with the breaktfast and dinner each day. We were so stuffed and impressed by the presentation. We booked the private baths without any issues and we were lucky that each time it was available for us. The staff was so nice and welcoming. They picked us up from the train station and drove us to the closest bus station on our free day in Hakone, we thought that was very helpful because walking to the station would be impossible. "
