Room was very small. Property had a dozen or more feral cats (essentially vermin) wandering around. Breakfast was minimal (some hard boiled eggs would helped an otherwise lack of protein) and the chickens (who were everywhere!) were very aggressive about stealing the food from your plates. It's hard to keep the property looking clean with that much animal defecation produced on an hourly basis.

Everything was fantastic! We were very impressed. The personal service by Beatrice, Jowell, Heidi, Victoria, and Alexandra made the stay very personalized and pleasantly added this amazing place.

Great location on the beach. Staff was always friendly and willing to help.

1 Hotel Hanalei Bay is the most spectacular hotel I have ever stayed at. From the views, to the staff, to the amenities, everything is top notch. I would 100% recommend everyone stay here.

Generally the stay was great. Check in was less than pleasant when told we had to pay for A/C and an extra tax. Our package said all was included. It did get resolved a couple days later. Also concierge when we got there was too much since we had been up for almost 24 hours. Felt pressure to do a time share sales pitch. We did cancel it the next day since we had no interest . Parking spaces were tight made it hard to load and unload luggage
