"We loved this little piece of paradise. Great beach access and close to plenty of things to do and places to eat in Kapaa. Plenty of gear for snorkeling, bogey boarding, and chilling on the beach. Great mini market right down the road with fresh tuna poke and sushi every day! The Ginger House is well equipped for the chef and the grill master! The host was very responsive and had great recommendations for everything Kauai. We will be back soon!"

The Kalalea Juice Hale is also a must visit and is just minutes away.Nice sandy beach with sandy entrance to the water just outside the back of the house. "Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Royal Sonesta Kauai. It's connected to a Marriott resort, so there are a lot of restaurants and different spaces in which to relax. Our room was updated and clean, though they only provide in-room services every two days. As a vegetarian, there were limited options and our best meals were off the resort. We traveled all over the coastline to many beaches and I'm glad we did. The beach at the resort is fine, but there are a lot better ones elsewhere. The pool is pretty empty early in the mornings and then later in the evenings and I swam laps and relaxed during those times."
