"Room was not clean. Our room didn’t come stocked with any beverages or snacks at first, we didn’t have adequate towels or any robes. I had to reach out to concierge about this issue which she did resolve but stilll. Service WAS EXTREMELY SLOW! They moved on their own time or just completely forgot. Pools were fine. Food was mid. I actually liked dreams resort with the darn kids instead of Breathlesss"

"So first things first, my original room was not ideal. There was mold by the air vents, AC doesn't work too well and the walls, bedsheets and smell of the room wasn't what I hoped for. Luckily I was able to change my room to a far better one with great views. The staff was really accommodating with that. Now, Riu Republica is in fact a party resort, there is a lot to do, to keep you active. Plenty of drinks to go around and trust me, those drinks will creep on you before you know it. The staff were okay, but some of them looked really annoyed if you ask them for something. The restaurants were pretty bland, but I found Kulinarium to be one of the better ones. Their breakfast and the jerk chicken spot were also top teir in terms of quick free food. We also had a night where there was no water for a couple of hours and everyone had to use bottled water to shower, flush toilets and whatnot. Overall, despite their flaws, It is still a fun resort to be at. Just know that you sort of get what you paid for since it is a cheaper option."

"Rooms were clean and spacious. Ac worked great! Food and drinks were good. Staff helped with anything we needed. The pool parties are a MUST! We had so much fun. Restaurants were also good. We liked that we had an option to eat at any restaurant every night vs only getting 2-3 restaurants options depending on how many days you stay. Buffet was also good. Plenty of options. We reserved photos with the photographer in the market store at the resort and he was amazing. Wonderful experience. I really recommend this resort it’s a lot of fun. Definitely go and experience the famous themed pool parties and if you just want to relax this resort will also offer that. Beach was beautiful. 10/10 recommend!!! The complex is beautiful and they keep up with the grounds as well. Very beautiful. The energy and vibe of the resort is amazing as well. Pools were great many options. Staff were always available and answered any questions. The staff for entertainment were wonderful as well. "
