Staff were very polite and very helpful when we asked questions related to transportation in tokyo. The hotel has a train station 1 minute walk and we literally had so much easy experience with transit (they provided us with a map with all the train lines and where they go). Definitely recommend the place for relaxing time while enjoying Tokyo city. "

"We had 3 nights stopover on the way to Taiwan from NJ, I knew I wanted for stay near Toyosu so I picked this hotel based on the location. I’m so glad I did! Loved our stay at La Vista — perfect location, clean rooms, and the upside: the onsen and the breakfast! Free flow Ikura — nothing beats that!!! "

"One of the few affordable hotels in Tokyo. It used to be better and they seem to get spoiled by the abundance of tourists. The noise from the road is bearable but it’s enough to need earplugs. "

"The Strings is a world class hotel -- great rooms and amenities. The breakfast buffet is one of the best around Tokyo in its price range. Located next to Shinagawa Station, the hotel is highly convenient to the train system, including the Shinkansen, and to Haneda Airport."

"Take the airport limousine to shinadome station, then take a go taxi to the hotel (make sure address is in Japanese). Check in was easy. They also have English speaking staff. Just a reminder that the check in is on floor 7. The buffet stays open pretty late. Room was nice and clean. Has all the amenities you may need. staff was very attentive. I did have one issue with the bath house putting shampoo in the conditioner bottle other than that it was a relaxing stay. They have a woman only floor...

"This was my home away from home for my trip to Japan. The staff were very friendly and helpful and my room was always very clean and serviced regularly. The laundry room was very helpful to have on-site! If you are planning to stay here, that could help you pack less clothes than anticipated. The location is also great, as there is a shopping area within walking distance, including a grocery store! This was a lovely stay, I highly recommend it."

"Our family of 5 had a great time in the grand Japanese style room. There was plenty of room for us. The washer/dryer combo was a plus, and they even provide the detergent! Location was great and the train stations are not too far away. Daimon station has several lines including the Tokyo monorail that takes you straight to Haneda airport. There is also a grocery store nearby on top of many other convenience stores. We would stay here again if we came to Tokyo."
