The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu

"Prime location at Yokohama Bay, Minatomirai. Within walking distance of at least three large malls. Connected to Queens Square, which sits on top of a train station. Easy route to Haneda by train. We ate at the Kaiseki restaurant in the hotel and the beef quality was not nearly high enough to justify the cost of the food. Cooked and seasoned very well, but not high quality tender meat. Very chewy. Normally a hotel like this would have elevated food costs and equally elevated quality. I’m not sure whether the restaurant is independently run or is part of the hotel."

"5-star hotel style, we have the 4-bed hotel room with plenty of space to walk around. Nice east view, you can see the Cosmo Clock and sunrise from window. Maybe we chose a family room, there is no work desk in the room, I have hard time doing work at night. There are many restaurants to choose from without leaving your building. Shopping mall, museums, Train stations, everything is walking distance. Love the morning run around the harbour. Night is beautiful!"

"I stayed in a double room and a single room .For the price it is okay-storage for luggage is under the bed.I find the bathroom very small as a 5’8 when sitting my knees nearly touch the door.Overall I found the single room to be slightly more spacier overall.Would stay here again because of the easy check in and out process.Especially the express check out which was very convenient for catching 5am trains to Narita airport.No complications."

"The staff is extremely helpful and accomodating! My family and I stayed for a few nights in two separate but adjacent rooms. There are lots of restaurant to choose from along the main road. M son forgot something in the room and when we contacted the hotel, they were quick to resolve the problem."

"Peaceful Onsen, not a tourist hotel, which is just what I wanted. Clean, simple rooms. a blissful stay. I am an american english speaker and found using translation apps, and following the lead of those around me very helpful. The "rules" are different than other hotels I've been too- e.g. : you need to check in and out to leave (but the process is usually quick). Very kind, welcoming place. AND the Asian Breeze Thai oil massage was the BEST massage I have had in a long time. I am already planning to return."
