Definitely a repeat stay

Love that it’s close to the train station and easy access. Great location with restaurants and shopping. Really enjoyed the tub with the Onsen powders that they offer at the lobby.

The room was lovely with a nice big tub perfect for soaking after a long day of exploring. They provide a lot of amenities including various face masks and bath salts. They were many convenient things like being able to see the time left on the washer/dryer from your room TV, as well as the coffee machine, the microwave and a grocery store connected to the hotel. it was conveniently located near the subway and train station. There were many restaurants and shops nearby as well as access to the gondolas. The staff was nice and helpful and everything was clean. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

I always stay in this hotel when I come back from the US. The room is cozy enough for 2ppl with 2 big luggages. The location is just in front of the station where we can go to Tokyo or Hakone by trains with no complicated transits. Highly recommend the hotel for those who visits in Yokohama or Tokyo.

Fit the need

Right near Sakuragicho train station. Lots of shopping nearby. Quick trip to Chinatown (I think it's 2 or 3 stops away). Room is quiet, clean bathroom.

Staff were nice , room is really clean , convenient location and it’s really quiet. Only thing is they said they can’t calls taxi in front of the hotel because it’s facing to 国道 we had to push suitcases to Sakuragi-Cho station to catch taxi it was not far but inconvenient.

This hotel uses a self-check-in system which is inconvenient and inflexible. Although self-check-in appears to be a way to reduce staffing, in fact, the amount of confusion generated by the system requires about the same degree of staff involvement and a great deal more effort in dealing with frustrated guests. The system is inflexible when a guest arrives before the 3 p.m. check-in time, issuing an error message rather than asking the guest to try later or offering to store luggage until the room is available. Since the error message simply states that the guest is "outside the reservation period", staff have to come and explain the situation. In my case, this was done rather brusquely and without offers to store luggage, etc. Another rather strange aspect of "automation" at this hotel: Perhaps it is a "bug" rather than a "feature"... The fancy rear-washing toilets so ubiquitous in Japan appear to be undergoing further "improvement". The one in my room appears to automatically guess when the user wants their rear end sprayed, apparently by sensing movement patterns on the toilet seat. More research (or repair) needed! This one several times squirted me while I was trying to dry off from a previous squirt!

We really enjoyed our stay at JR east hotel. The location is very convenient, across the street of Sakuragicho station & air cabin station. There's a restaurant, convenient store & Starbucks downstairs. The room is very clean & cozy & has all the amenities we need. We'll definitely choose this hotel again if we go to Yokohama

Location, location, location. It’s right by the JR train station. Subway station is also right outside the hotel entrance. Within a short walking distance, there are tons of stores and restaurants. The room I stayed was small, but clean and quiet. Japanese style bathroom (separate wash area and big tub) is a bonus for me. I opted in for the breakfast buffet which was excellent, though I got tired after few days (I stayed for 2 weeks). I would recommend to try it few times, but you can buy food and drink at the convenience store (Seijo Ishii) on the 1st floor. There are also Starbucks on the 2nd floor of the building.

The staff was really friendly and this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at while traveling in Japan so far. The room was very spacious, modern and clean. My favorite part was the big tub and they provided all the toiletries even bath salts and face masks. If I would have known how amazing this room was I would’ve stayed here longer. If I come back to Yokohama I will definitely be staying here again.

JR桜木町駅に直結していて雨にも濡れずとても便利室内もとてもきれいで使いやすく、お風呂がかなり広いその代わり脱衣、洗面、トイレのスペースはまとめているため少し狭いが、同時に使わなければ十分だと思う室内側のドレッサー部にはミラーがないため、お化粧する時は洗面スペースで立ったまま使うことになるので、そちらにもミラーがあるとよりベスト
