Clean room with private onsen. Adequate parking spot. Staff were helpful and friendly. Japanese dinner and breakfast were yum!

Walking in to Gora Kadan was a bit like stepping back in time in Japan, but with modern amenities and impeccable service. The meals were delicious, the baths other-worldly, and our personal host Ryo was helpful, polite and a wonderful guide to the ryokan experience.

The staff is really nice and helpful, especially the in their restaurant. Staff speaks English very well, way better than some five-star hotel in Tokyo. Hotel facilities are new and pretty, however, the room we stay in is kind of old. I will book the "West Wing" room next time.
