"We were honored to be the first guests after Isla Azul’s reopening under new management. The hotel manager Pedro is exceptionally friendly and customer-focused. He and his team were a highlight of our stay. He coordinated awe-inspiring snorkeling and phytoplankton tours with an experienced local guide. The restaurant chef whipped up delicious local favorites, made to order, and the piña coladas were nice and cold! The hotel was still in the process of renovating during our stay, so I expect that...

"This hotel needs to do better. The AC in my room wasn’t working properly and the restaurant did not have at least 50% of the items of the menu. We left one day before, because we needed to fully enjoy our time of vacation. Perhaps, not only for this hotel, but for all the hotels in las Islas del Rosario, the transportation is a scary ride, way too many people in the boats."

"Posto poco curato, trasandato e molto spartano. Prezzi molto alti per la qualità offerta. C’è un molo d’attracco ma non un vero posto dove fare il bagno. Sconsigliato."

"This is a great alternative to the hotels that are on the island. But it is an econo Lodge. Meaning limited power and water. It does give a real feel for the colonial living of the island. And for my overnight stays between diving it fit the need."

"I really loved this stay! The island was very nice, I loved being able to immerse myself in nature. I saw wild parrots too! The island is very walkable, and there is a little store next door with sodas and chips, which we enjoyed.
The room was very spacious and we enjoyed the outdoor hammock. The dogs were super friendly and so were the cats! The fan was enough to keep us cool, and the shower was great for if you get hot. Check-in was smooth and we were offered a place to store our luggage at...

"After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night.

"Nice place to be away from everything and relax. Very nice staff, and very good food.
But we were never bitten by mosquitos or something else so much, bring plenty of mosquito repellent"

Highly recommend to any couple.
The resort is a great mix - daytrippers come in by boat in the AM, party until 3 pm; VIP party private boats party until 4:30; after, the resort is very peaceful and romantic. Sunsets around 6 pm are beautiful. The rooms are basic but more than enough given you only really will be sleeping in them - comfortable beds, AC, no insects.
Special remarks for the service at the resort - truly incredible, in particular Jorge and Paola. All staff were incredibly...

Really nice place to spend time as a family.
I would not recommend booking private transportation to the hotel. As long as you use their boat from Cartagena it went very well.

Staff were mediocre. Island was beautiful! Transportation was a little unsafe. They drop you at the dock without parking the boat. They always seem in a hurry. I recommend to arrange transportation with the hotel not outside boats.

I use this property to overnight when I was diving. The power is only on at night but the breeze and fan was adequate for getting us good night's sleep. The water is solid although I didn't trust it for drinking. The owners couldn't have been nicer and they included breakfast was good.

We stayed at Casa Rosario from Sunday to Thursday, and I can’t even put into words how much I enjoyed the place. The staff there were absolutely amazing. The young girls were so kind and even helped me with my Spanish, which isn’t very strong.
I truly loved every single moment I spent there. Thank you for such a beautiful and unforgettable experience!

Corona Island is an absolute paradise! 🌴
A beautiful beach with crystal-clear waters and white sand, surrounded by mangroves and exotic wildlife, including the cutest little monkeys. 🐒
The entire staff provided excellent service, the meals were included, and the food was absolutely delicious.
There’s also a beautiful snorkeling area where you can see lots of colorful fish. 🐠
The cabins were super comfortable, making the whole experience truly wonderful.
I hope I can come back soon!...

2 nights-3 days. We missed staying another night. Great for a retreat escapade. Food was delicious. Our bungalow very well equipped with good amenities, private pool, sea view (beautiful sunsets).
We enjoyed viewing Saturn, Jupiter and the moon through the telescope at the club house in addition to the bioluminiscent night experience in Cholon.

This hotel is great. It's worth the price you pay for it. It met my expectations and goes beyond. The staff is very helpful and nice: Rafa, Leo, Fernanda, Fabiola, etc. The rooms are small but go with the echo friendly concept of the hotel. The delicious breakfast is included and in general, the kitchen or restaurant has a variety of dishes. The only dark spot is a nearby hooter making noise around 4:30 a.m. that could disrupts your rest and causes stress. After complaining to the management...

I recently had an amazing stay at Tijereto. It was a fantastic experience, and here's why:
Comfort: The rooms are cozy and inviting. The bed was super comfortable, and I had everything I needed.Free Wi-Fi, made my stay easy and enjoyable.
Beaches: The hotel is right by the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. The soft white sand and crystal-clear blue waters were stunning. I could easily access the beach and enjoy lounging on comfy chairs with umbrellas.
