The hotel was very pleasing but the staff was honestly TERRIBLE. I was impressed by such poor customer service, especially in Cartagena, such a tourist place. The wait time was more than an hour for just an arepa de huevo, waitress never came to check on us or apologized for the wait. We had to ask another waitress why it was taking so long and also for the check. She also added the tip without asking us. Another day for breakfast, one of the waitress was upset because we didn’t want to do the buffet option, instead we wanted a la carte. She was in a hurry, served me coffee and spilled it. She was so unpleasant. By the pool, I waited ONE hour for them to bring us 4 regular juices. INSANE. Unbelievable coming from Intercontinental Hotel.
