"What a great place in which to stay in the Hunter Valley! My friends were quick to compliment the size of the rooms while also feeling homely, and I really appreciated the little things like a well stocked pantry of staples and a face towel for each of us (on top of the regular towel). We were only disappointed we were too early in the season to make use of the pool! Was just delightful - probably the best property I have stayed in across all of my Stayz bookings. Thank you for making our relaxing weekend very easy :)"

"We had an overnight stay at Bellbird Hotel as we were in the area for the day and decided to support local instead of returning to Sydney. The hotel itself is great. Bar staff could be more engaging. Accommodation was comfortable though a little tired. Wouldn’t take much to freshen it up, have a decent (hanging) wardrobe and full tea/coffee facilities. Shower pressure fantastic. The huge upstairs verandah was divine to relax on and enjoy the late afternoon. Enjoyed a meal at the restaurant, big servings. Lucky we checked the menu online as the menus on table didn’t have the full menu. Check in and check out was easy. Plenty of free off street parking. Would definitely recommend for an overnighter!"

"We really did love this beautiful homestead! So clean, inviting and peaceful, with wonder that was accommodating, and grounding from arrival to finish. This added to our valued family memories that were created to cherish forever .A very special way for me to spend my 60th birthday. I would do it all again in a heartbeat."

"For a family group of 13 the House and its contents were very good, a few matters for condiderastion .1. Lawns needed mowing 2 Rubbish Pile at the side of the House near the tank 3. broken Glass on concrete pavement at the rear4. Gas Bottle was replaced5. Internal TV Aerial fitting were poor, we replaced a fitting so the children could view age appropriate shows in the formal lounge area 6. the Coffee Machine wouldnt heat milk and the back up Milk heater wouldnt work 7. We had difficulties getting the oven to turn on, until we found the power switch in the Toaster /Jug area . 8. The Parking is Poor we had age groups from 75 to 7 and 4 Vehicles and with 13 people and their luggage , eskys etc to walk up hill with to get into the house was not the best. 9. It wasnt till we were leaving i read one of the many instruction notes attached to the walls with sticky tape , duct tape that parking on the lawn at the front below the retaining wall was prohibted 10. The grandparents and grand children were hunted off the neighbouring farm land at the rear of the property while they were checking out the rabbits and roos . Apparently their was a note fixed to an internal wall saying this was taboo . Maybe a sign made up on the back fence for the occupants clearly stating no entry might help. I may sound like a whinger but things will only improve with an honest appraisal, we enjoyed our stay, and Bellbird is a nice rural type retreat .Regards Jeff Lamb"

"The property was absolutely stunning, beautiful garden, amazing interior, large communal space, outdoor and indoor. Big BBQ area, pizza oven, pool. Bedrooms were great, isolated, no noise issues. My only issue was that the water pressure in the showers in the house (not including the cabins) was terrible. Other than that everything was amazing. Would have been nice to know that there was a pizza oven as this wasn't in the pictures. The pictures could be updated to show how amazing the house is, it was so much bigger and better than we expected from the photos. "

"The room was amazingly clean and tidy, chocolates on the bed added to the experience and the host John was a gem of a person and a wonderful person. Super helpful and amazing human being. The location is super isolated but approachable using Apple maps. The cabin was so comfortable to sleep and the was rooms were clean and tidy."
