「On arrival there was no visible reception, which was surprising given how busy the weekend was. It was very confusing to find our accommodation and we had to call multiple times before anyone answered. The room provided was not the one we booked, and the property looked very run-down. Perhaps new owners but they certainly weren’t very helpful. 「The room was clean but should not be classified as a 2 bedroom. It’s one room with partitions that don’t go to the ceiling that separate the rooms. Villas overlook main road and noise from traffic could be heard. The queen bed was like sleeping on a wooden plank. Bathroom had tiles separating, and laminate stuck to the wall with tape. Outdoor areas look dated back to the 80’s, the whole place needs a lot of maintenance. Not worth the $400 a night, more like $200 at best, if it was in better...

「環境もよく、レストランやワイナリー巡りなども楽しめる良い立地。 しかし、おそらく中国人向けの斡旋ホテルなのか、まず英語と中国語の表記に興醒め。 日中のブリュワリーには観光バスの中国人の集団。 とにかく昼間はここにいたいと思わなかった。 夜のブリュワリーには誰もいなくて、落ち着いて過ごせたが・・・。 ホテル自体はきれいではないが、そこそこきれいにはされていた。しかし古さには勝てない。ほころびには目をつむろう。価格もリーズナブルなので。 ワイナリーなのにブリュワリーがあるのが逆に面白い。基本的にはOK。 ただ、中国人向けなのは知らせて欲しかったな。知っていたら、泊まらなかった。海外旅行って雰囲気も一つの重要な要素になりえるのだから。」

「Room is great for an overnight sleep especially if doing balloon and have to get up at 3am. You get what you pay for but rooms n bathroom are clean which is all that matters. Staff are friendly and helpful. Easy checkin and self check out - drop key in box. 」

「The room was very dirty, ripped paint and broken window blinds. The staff were quite rude, rolled their eyes at questions and made several veiled threats to call the police before even checking in.」

「Abermain was a fantastic hotel. Great location to be close to the wineries in Pokolbin and Lovedale. Room was clean and it’s situated in a hotel that is 115 years old. We were worried about the shared bathroom but it was totally fine. The bar food looked great, even though we didn’t indulge after a day at the wineries. Would definitely come back to the Abermain. 」

「Super süßes Hotel inkl Pub. Schön eingerichtet, sauber. Bei 40 Grad hat uns die Klimaanlage gefehlt, aber es gab einen Ventilator. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder waren sauber. Lustiges Personal und leckeres Essen im Pub.」
