An absolute gem in the heart of Pokolbin, Hermitage Lodge offers a peaceful and comfortable vineyard escape with stunning views, exceptionally cozy rooms, and the fantastic on-site Pescara Restaurant. Enjoyed the space, the wine tasting by Aeon wines was an absolute highlight and the fireplace in our room, lovely sunset and sunrise views and super central to everything! Check in was smooth and staff were outstanding!

We stayed in the suite that had the spa bath on the back deck. It was roomy and had a really nice outlook onto the vines at the back of the property. The bed was comfortable and the property was very well located opposite First Creek Winery (highly recommend) and not far from Brokenwood Winery. The staff were helpful and I would definitely stay here again.

The accommodation was utilised as a base for us to explore the local area. Well situated for our exposure to this beautiful area. Had an excellent restaurant, is situated in an area that has a multitude of excellent restaurants. The lodge rooms are well set up for meals. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed over New Year’s Eve and although the whole area was very quiet the Lodge was great. The room was very clean and the breakfast, that was provided within the room, was really nice. The view out over the vines, with the wildlife was great, too.

The rooms and extensive facilities were lovely. The staff were kind, check-in was straightforward, and the complimentary bottle of wine was a pleasant surprise. Some amenities available in the room, like coffee, tea, and milk. No continental breakfast option was available. It's not close enough to shops, and you'd need a car to buy some small bites. In general, good option for accommodation.
