We stayed on a townhouse. It was clean and comfy. Great facilities especially the swimming pool and heated spa. The grounds were great for kids to ride bikes and rollerblade. Great to have the air-conditioning in the living areas and main bedroom.

Love love loved this cabin! Ample space, ultra clean, clean comfy bedding, towels, soaps, conditioners, lotions, well stocked kitchen supplies, couch, ac, covered porch with seating, walk to the beach (might be tough trek for some undulating sand) but the coastal views well worth the trek! Fun large pool areas with comfortable nice loungers, sunny and shaded areas. The restaurant/bar was not open when we arrived which was disappointing but we Lund a market nearby. The koala refuge is right next door so we popped in there. Loved the birds and trees as well. Great stay!

The cabin was gone for an overnight stopover but well away from Newcastle and probably not the ideal stopover. Room was decent sized. Plumbing wasn’t the greatest. Shower glass wasn’t great as water leaked through. There was sand on the bed sheets and lots of bugs about but expected considering the location. A solid 3 star stay, staff were wonderful. If camping vibes is your thing, great stay.

The cabin wasn’t as clean as we thought it would be and we thought of maybe cleaning out the spa that was in the bathroom before using it. We didn’t end up using it as black particles came out once we cleaned it. Our bed sheets had marks on them and the place smelt musty throughout our whole stay. The bed sheets didn’t smell like they had been washed. The bed was so soft that my partner and I had the worst back aches during and after our stay. Luckily we bought our own airfreshners and cleaning products to make the 5 days we stayed in the cabin more bearable. Also the Netflix function doesn’t work, we only found out about this on the afternoon we checked into our cabin and tried to connect it. The only highlight of have our stay is we had lorikeets that would come up to our cabin door and they were super friendly while we fed them apples. This place has a lot of potential but unfortunately it didn’t offer us a place of feeling like we were on a holiday.
