The Robertson Hotel is a sanctuary where the raveled sleeve can be knitted up again :) Beautiful surrounds, friendly, attentive staff, lovely breakfast. My only worry is that its gentle, historical charm will be lost in future development. Sydney needs this kind of retreat from its mass tourism culture.

Beautiful heritage property. Friendly staff. Great food. Lots of thought of little touches like the bookshelf and coffee tea making facility on the floor I was staying at. Also the fire places, piano, and lounges everywhere makes this place special and welcoming. It wasn’t my first time here and will not be my last. Highly recommend nearby attractions. Fitzroy Falls (also has a tourist centre and cafe), Belmore falls (both falls can be seen within a couple hundred meters if not less, with the option to walk further), Robertson Pies, the local shops attraction including the cheese and olives store, etc.
