"My fiancée and I were hoping for a quiet, relaxing stay at Locanda Gulfi. From the outside, the hotel promised everything we wanted: A gorgeous stretch of Sicilian countryside, a large pool, well-kept grounds. What followed was sadly the worst vacation we have experienced so far. Unannounced, the hotel celebrated a party until 3 o'clock in the morning, including loud blaring DJ music. "The beach and restaurant are quite lovely as is the entrance to the hotel. We were taken through the hotel, out the back ally, up some stairs to a different building and into a large undecorated room with a large patio with no view. There was a party in the room above us all night that made it impossible to sleep. I’m sure it was once a lovely location but it hasn’t aged well. Best for young folks that want to party. "
