「Checked out a day early as per usual staff wouldnt let us check in a hour early dissapointing」

「The Clifton is an old hotel but has been decorated throughout to give it a clean and modern appearance. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was on the 1st floor but would have asked for a higher floor to be a better sea view. The furniture was dated but clean and abundant. The bathroom was clean with a powerful shower over the bath. The shower head was loose and needs attention. There is paid parking at the hotel and in front on the promenade road. 「Ok so I did say I’d never stay here again, however as it was such short notice when we decided to go to Southport our usual hotel was fully booked so decided to try here again but booked an executive room on the hope that it would be just that. Unfortunately it was a very plain room with no amenities as such, only 1 small bath towel which had a brown stain on it plus 1 hand towel and no bath mat. I called at reception for another towel. 「I stayed at the Warwick, Southport from Friday 26th September - Monday 29th September during the British Musical Firework Championship 2025. Finding good-quality accommodation for a reasonable price during the weekend is almost impossible as establishments raise their prices as large numbers of people flock to the town for the weekend and many places selling out soon after the dates are announced. This is not my first stay, having come across The Warwick, Southport almost a year ago. 」

「Just a nice clean hotel only had breakfast which was adequate. Not keen in leaving security deposits of £50 we are not foing to damage anything.」

「We needed a cheap room near The Open and The Marlborough Hotel achieved this. Booked 2x single rooms with en-suite. My room was absolutely fine - except the bathroom wasn't clean, the toilet seat wasn't attached and the water pressure was weak. Otherwise, the staff were friendly, there is a free car park & I broadly felt safe.」
