The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly and will do anything to make your stay satisfying. There is ample parking,within walking distance of southport and its amenities. They do a very good value breakfast at £5 which includes a fry.

We parked easily, the property was quiet & secure. The hosts were great .. so friendly, conveniently located for our needs … the breakfast was incredible value too. Yes, the property is dated, however it is all about expectations, and for the amount paid it’s a treat … if you expect the Ritz you’ll be disappointed & if you want a standard Travelodge experience again the Balmoral Hotel is not for you. It’s the 2nd time I’ve stayed & I have no reason not to return again next year.

Friendly staff, hotel is showing its age and on need of a little maintence but didn't effect overall experience as I knew what to expect based on the price I paid. Got a little upgrade to the garden facing room which was nice. Breakfast was cooked fresh, little full English with toast available for a supplement of £5. Approx 8 parking spaces, first come first served basis. Nice area with a little bit of a walk 10 -15 mins to the centre. I was only there one night as I was attending a function. I got what I paid for and can't complain.
