"DO NOT STAY HERE !!! Disgraceful standards – absolutely nothing like the booking photos, which are clearly misleading/fake. Room 6 was filthy: floors covered in dirt, chocolate and hair; smelly pillows; bathroom shelf falling off the wall; shower mat and floor caked in hair and grime. Walls scuffed, stained and neglected; building exterior run-down. We checked in at 3:30pm and left by 6pm as it was unfit to stay – had to book elsewhere. Total waste of money. Avoid at all costs. "Good value city centre hotel. Room was clean but dated and most of the lights were not working. Shower was good and plenty of hot water. We stayed for 2 nights and were surprised that our room was not cleaned during our stay. Breakfast was good but no fresh bread only sliced for toast. Waves bar was nice with happy hour until 7 pm ever day. To Sum up we would stay here again due to value for money and location and the grand lounge was very impressive showcasing what a grand building she once was."
