「hotel was great from start to finish」

「Great location and great facilities.Lovely helpful staff.」

「hotel is very clean and well maintained. The gardens are lovely with plant markers, and we even saw bunnies at night. The boutique has reasonably priced beach clothing. Rooms are comfortable, with eco‑friendly AC that shuts off when you leave. The beach is beautiful, and refillable water stations are convenient if you bring a bottle. The resort has a warm, family‑oriented atmosphere. À la carte restaurants were full when we arrived and unable to book a restaurant. The main negative issue is...

「Staff were very friendly! Entertainment and food were fabulous. Pool spotless, great to see the manager being there on the complex walking around observing. The bar staff and waiters/waitresses were charming and nothing too much for them. With the facilities, we were disappointed on first day to have no aircon in our room, heard others had same problem with this. We were moved to different room same day but it meant we lost time unpacking and packing again. Overall the stay was so lovely...

「Really loved this stay in Madeira! It seems like the hotel is newly built and because of that it comes with good amenities. Staff were super helpful with our room and we were able to take advantage of the gym and pool! Definitely a nice place to relax at after doing all the Hikes!」

「My 6-night stay in the Moon & Sun Hotel Funchal was really comfotable! Access to shopping district within walking distance, clean room, convenient facilities, wonderful rooftop pool and kind support by employees.」

「Perfect location」

「Overall a great hotel which ticks a lot of boxes in terms of location, facilities, cleanliness. The only issue I would point out is the checkin / out staff and process seems overly long. This creates queues which is the last thing you need after a long journey. We waited for 30-40 mins to be checked in and the desk staff seemed frustrated as much as the guests.」
