"Big hotel. Big rooms. Great pools. Modern, with conference style feel. Remarkable buffet, no need to go up the road and pay extra. Chocolate fountain on two nights. No decaff tea - go next door to the cliff after dinner for that. VidaMar suited us as a great base (we didn’t rent a car), we used bus or booked trips. The ‘west’ jeep discovery tour is a must. Plus all the other go-to places. Walk to Camera de Lobos and get the bus back. Madeira exceeded our expectations. "

We dropped our things off in our room and just loved the look of the room and the fact that they had towels available in the room to use for the pools.
