Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war herausragend. So habe ich es empfunden. Die Mitarbeiter in dem Hotel sind super nett, zuvorkommend und sehr hilfsbereit. Offiziell beginnt das Frühstück um 7:30 Uhr (welches sehr reichhaltig und lecker ist). Da meine Wanderungen teilweise um 6:00 Uhr stattfanden, hat man mir zum Beispiel ein Lunchpaket fertig gemacht. Das war klasse. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gepflegt und die Betten sehr bequem. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum von Funchal. Der Hafen mit der Promenade, die Kathedrale, die Altstadt… alles ist fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen und damit ein super Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen jeglicher Art. Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Auch die Roof-Top-Bar ist ein absolutes Highlight. Danke für diesen tollen Urlaub. Ich werde wiederkommen. :)

Bien situé, très bonne variété au petit déjeuner. Préférable de loger dans l’immeuble de l’hôtel et non dans le bâtiment annexe , non géré par l’hôtel . L’insonorisation est médiocre. Nous entendons clairement les conversations de l’appartement voisin( à toute heure du jour et de la nuit) et la musique provenant autant de l’extérieur que de l’intérieur de l’immeuble ainsi que tout autre bruit( chien, rénovations etc.). Malgré nos commentaires au personnel, ils ont été indifférents et aucune solution ou compensation n’a été offerte.

Se” Boutique Hotel was next level awesome! We arrived early in the morning tired and they had our room ready and let us check in early and they even gave us breakfast! They upgraded our room to an apartment which was lovely! The breakfast each morning was so delicious with a large variety of food. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The location was perfect! We would recommend this very highly and we would stay here again for sure!

Really friendly staff - the roof top terrace was great and the guys serving were very polite and helpful. Nice touches including a late afternoon delivery of some sweets each day! The free breakfast was lovely and the location of the hotel was fantastic so close to everything in just a few minute walk.

The hotel has a great location next to the Cathedral. Only problem is that it’s hard to get to with luggage, since cars & taxis can not get to the entrance. All the employees were helpful, talkative, and enjoyable. The free breakfast has a huge assortment of goodies and even hot items.. The one problem I do want to address is parking your car. When I reserved, it said parking available.. For some reason, I expected it nearby and free. The parking lot is a good 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel does give you a small discount of the daily charge. But the problem is the car has to be moved every two days, take it out of the lot go around the block and put it back in. Because we were there for five nights it was a real pain to walk back-and-forth, even though we did not need the car while we were there. The way it was addressed was very confusing with the tickets to get the discount. It took away from the enjoyment of our first days in Madeira Portugal.

Very good location near historic old town. A few minutes walk from the Aerobus (airport to town public transport) stop. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were all very welcoming and gave advice on local trips etc.... Glad we chose to stay here.

Hôtel propre et bien entretenu. Ménage fait tous les jours. La terrasse sur le toit est sympa, l’hôtel organise des soirées musique et avons eu une soirée Fado sur cette terrasse. Bon petit déjeuner avec du choix. Emplacement au top. Le seul point négatif est la piscine qui n’était pas inclus dans notre prestation et donc qui est payante et non chauffée 😖
