「The kindness and warmth my daughter and I experienced at this hotel was unprecedented. Breakfast was included and was unexpected and appreciated. We loved the roof top patio and even tried the pool amidst an unexpected rain shower. Clean and pleasant. 」

Ian & Maria were excellent hosts & nothing was too much trouble for them. If hiring a car beware of the very narrow roads & parking for the apartment can be difficult.」

「A lovely small hotel situated above Funchal near the main cable car station. The views over Funchal to the sea are very special. Exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful staff. The breakfast is generous and varied. We had a comfortable and well equipped suite which had its own small balcony and a patio shared with a neighbouring suite. 「I liked the place was great clean , quiet the entrance is down an ally with a restaurant which is fine but once restaurant closes it is very dark . I would stay there again . Ordering a car service if you have 4 pp better price than bus service and more personable 」

「The location is probably the only thing that is worth mentioning. The building is very old and everything is the department is poorly maintained. There a a few restaurants right underneath and you will be bathed with cooking smells pretty much 24x7 (we were on the 6th floor and can’t imaging how much worse on lower floors). Parking is ridiculous and you need a lot of help from your friends to get in and out. 」

「Rental unit is located above a busy and loud shopping mall. So if you want a quieter place x this isn’t it. We were here only 3 nights and the in-unit washer broke on first use. Someone came to fix it the next day, but upon second use it broke again. We ended coming back and fixing it ourselves, YouTube to the rescue. Got our clothes out soaking wet and had to mop up the kitchen too. If you like to DIY around the house, stay here. 」

「A wonderful stay, big rooms with excellent view, friendly and helpful staff. Rented the hotel's electric car, very comfortable to drive and not that expensive considering you don't have to pay for petrol (or even charging). Covid safety ensured very well by the staff, a big plus for that! 」

「マディラ島最大の都市フンシャルの中心部あたりにあるため、レストランはもとよりどこに出かけるのにも便利です。 近くには大きなショッピングモールもありますし、徒歩10分以内であれば大きなスーパーが３件はありました。 部屋は広めでおしゃれな感じ。プールもあるそうですが、冬なので利用しませんでした。」

「not bad. although breakfast was not good, as a whole, it was not bad. in terms of location, it was convenient, close to old city centre where good restaurants are. it took within 10min walk. staff was also kind.」

「It was a lovely room with a balcony overlooking a garden. The floors were lovely wooden ones with high ceilings. Nice little kitchen well equipped and very comfortable beds. 」

Needed more than one fan didn't ask if could have more as weather just becoming hot as left. The warning of very late night , very early morning noise , music, talking, putting away and setting out restaurants was accurate, so we expected it.
