Nice and peaceful hotel only a few Streets away from the restaurants and adventure companies. Ask at the reception they will help or guide you.

Excellent stay

We booked this for a birthday trip and they arranged suprise decoration in room - making it extra special. Hotel is well located if you have a car and room is comfortable. Thank you. We highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this hotel ,was convenient to all amenities though you do need to be able to walk uphill ,the staff were friendly and i had an amazing view ,i wouldnt hesitate to recommend and i shall come back .

Good

Overall the room was clean. It had an electric fan which helped because the room was quite warm. We paired one day breakfast and to be honest the quality would be better to pay in outside, the coffee itself could be much better. The shower towel could be a little better quality to dry a bit better

Came a bit early but could check in early. Room was perfect , and had a sea view.. Breakfast was very good.. Evenings after 22.00 were quiet although dogs nearby started their 'orchestra' every evening around 17.00. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful especially the receptionists. They even arranged a lovely lunch packet as we had a very early flight back. This was a cozy down to earth hotel.

Lovely!

The hotel was incredibly good value. We loved our stay and no ask was too much of the extremely friendly staff, we were provided with packed breakfasts when out early for trips and helped us to get car hire easily too. The only thing which could improve would be the breakfast service. Food was good for the price but the way in which you have to queue up and point to what you would like is strange and seems unnecessary and can be difficult if there are language barriers. Otherwise we loved it and with that improvement it would be amazing!

Good breakfasts and the staff were friendly but closing the reception at 5pm was not convenient. My room by the pool and people swam and talked and laughed loudly till after 11pm and my follow traveller had to call the emergency number. This person had to drive an half hour to tell come and speak to these inconsiderate people. They continued to swim late each night but just didn’t make as much noise but kept me awake for a few nights. They need a person in the property at night in order to resolve this,

though I was only there for a night, Pedro was an absolute doll, was very attentive when I had arrived past the check-in time and super helpful and recommending a restaurant that was more local and extremely friendly. The location is perfect for the area where restaurants are right down the road and you are walkable to the promenade. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Great place with outstanding service

Spent 5 days at this lovely hotel - nice view, good size rooms and incredible service (front desk very responsive and helped with trop recommendations!). Only downside is that it is a little far from Funchal - 35 min by foot or roughly 25 mins by bus.

The property is fine and the owner/staff very nice but the room we had was very very basic, not so clean, very basic bathroom/shower and mosquitoes all over. The room felt like a 1 to 2 star small hotel and the property was more like a 3 star.

Good value for money

I found the beds hard and pillows lumpy or flat. Also. I couldn’t connect to the WiFi anywhere. Apart from that, it’s definitely good value for money. The staff are extremely helpful, and the room was kept very clean.
