"I can only say that the owners are not interested in investing in this property to do any upgrades. We go every year. Its sad to see that it's degrading. Dirty carpets on the stairs, hallways, rooms. Dirty walls and windows. Old shower heads and leaking water in the bathroom. Some rooms have been upgraded , but very few from what I understood when talking to other people staying there. Many disappointed. Unkept pools (which is so sad bc the water is so great). Ripped pool chairs. The restaurant is decent, but nothing worth to stay in to eat more then once. Staff is nice... I ll give it another try next year, but I ll have to start looking somewhere else when going to Indian wells tennis tournament every year ... "

"1st the electronic door key for our 1st room would not open the door. Spoke with Mangr, we got new key- it didn’t work either. I asked “ do you have another room, got new room and the key didn’t open the door!! Mangr opened door w/ super key, we put our stuff in the room & went to eat. Mangr was to be there when we returned- He wasn’t & we had to wait in the car for 30 min to open the door!! The room was very sparse: No microwave no extra blankets no amenities…. Room very shabby remodel ceiling looked like coming down, bath door would stick & not open-we had to yank it open!! I WANT A REFUND OR AT LEAST 50% discount!! "

"The room was clean. Very old property. Next door to a shopping center. Homeless camped out there. Staff was ok. Only spoke with them when I checked in. Pictures are very deceptive!! Small fridge/freezer microwave and coffee machine. Limited parking. I wouldn’t stay there again."

"This is one of the nicest VRBO rentals we have ever done. The house is lovely and very well equipped - kitchen, tech, towels, etc all excellent. We didn't use the pool but the hot tub was beautifully clean and easy to warm. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood with lovely views of the mountains all around. Walter and Miguel do an excellent job and are immediately responsive whenever we needed a little help - even suggesting places to hike and shop. "

"Acres Landing is a hidden gem in Desert Hot Springs, CA. The property is clean, quiet, and well maintained, with a beautiful mineral water pool and hot tub open 24 hours. My camper was comfortable and functional and I appreciated the quick walk to coffeehouses and restaurants. If you’re looking for a unique glamping experience in Southern California, look no further than Acres Landing. "

"We reserved the best room in the hostel, a private room (shared bath) with a/c. There was only a bed and a single hanging light. No hooks to hang anything, no tables, no chairs—just a bed. No towels at this hostel (I brought my own). So many things amiss here…one community bathroom “out of order.” In the kitchen the community stove “out of order.” Some rooms have no doors. Mgmnt looking for “volunteer” to clean—it needs it…chickens in yard apparently provide eggs, but the grounds look like a junk yard. No indoor common areas other than small kitchen. "
